OUR STORY
Our service has been at the leading edge of early childhood intervention since our inception. In 1987 We were one of the first services offering supports delivered in natural settings, this means children’s homes, early childhood settings or schools, and within the community, an unusual idea in 1987 it is now considered best practice and over 90% of all our supports are delivered in natural settings. We have a strong commitment to uphold and implement National Disability Service Standards, as demonstrated by the high accolades Shaping Outcomes received when our service was verified in November 2014 and October 2016.
We are an innovative organisation with a growing staff base and expanding service delivery area , holding DGR and TCC status with the ATO since July 2000, we also receive community funding to support children and families who don’t meet NDIS criteria or are currently transitioning to funded supports.
Our programs and services are consistent with early childhood education, inclusion and disability philosophies. We utilise interaction through play and daily routines, to promote growth and development in children which create a foundation for future learning in schooling systems, and life. Teaching and helping children and their families develop the skills they need to take part in everyday activities within their families and their community.
